CALL FOR PAPERS
Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems
Special Issue-Power system protection and control containing renewable energy power generation
Renewable energy power generation, characterizing as wind power generation and photovoltaic generation, are replacing fossil energy power generation. The characteristic of power system containing renewable energy power generation has been changed fundamentally, including rotational inertia reducing, power generation output drasticallyfluctuating, DC grid-integration, traditional single power source radial distribution system being converted to double-source running, etc., which brings a lot of new challenges and subjects to traditionalprotective relaying and control techniques. This special issue will focus on the latest development and research in Power system protection and control containing renewable energy power generation.
Topics of interest of this Special Issue include, but are not limited tothe following aspects of Power system protection and control containing renewable energy power generation:
1. Fault modelling and characteristic analysis of wind power base large-scale cluster connected to grid
2. Fault modelling and characteristic analysis of large-scale PV power generation cluster connected to grid
3. Fault modelling and analysis of distributed wind power generation connected to grid
4. Fault modelling and analysis of sewing type PV power generation connected to grid
5. Fault characteristic analysis of renewable energy DC connected to grid
6. Islanding monitoring and protection
7. High voltage tie line protection configuration and control strategy
8. AC/DC feeder protection configuration principle and strategy
9. AC/DC protection and coordination control techniques
10. Protection and control in AC/DC Hybrid Grids
