Abstract:Aiming at the power restoration problem after the black out of distribution network, an active restoration system of distribution network is proposed based on multi-agent technology and JADE platform. There are two kinds of agent in the proposed system, i.e., the FeederAgent which represents the actual feeder in the distribution network, and the LoadAgent which stands for the actual load. When failure occurs on the feeder, the blackout loads send failure reports to the corresponding FeederAgent, requesting for restoring the power supply. Through coordination with other FeederAgengs in the distribution network, the FeederAgent with faults transfers the blackout loads to the adjacent normal feeders, and then restores the power supply of those loads. The proposed multi-agent system is utilized to solve the power restoration problem of a simple distribution network model built under the Matlab/Simulink environment, and its feasibility and effectiveness is verified.
