基于特征谐波电流积分比值的HVDC整流站保护优化方案

摘要:
针对现有高压直流输电(HVDC)系统换流站保护在区外交流系统故障时误动作的问题,提出了基于特征谐波电流积分比值的HVDC整流站保护优化方案。此方案利用换流变压器一次侧与送端交流线路的特征谐波电流积分比值来识别整流站区内外故障。当发生整流站区内故障时,该比值大于1;当发生整流站区外故障时,该比值小于1。进而考虑整流站保护与区外交流系统保护在时间上的协调配合,设计了防止整流站保护在区外交流系统故障时的误动作策略。仿真结果表明,所提保护优化方案可以准确识别区内外故障,且不受故障类型、故障距离、过渡电阻、故障初始角以及噪声干扰的影响。

Abstract:
The existing converter station protection of high-voltage direct current transmission (HVDC) system has the problem of misoperation when external faults occur. Based on the integral ratio of characteristic harmonic currents, a protection optimization scheme for HVDC rectifier stations is proposed. In this scheme, the characteristic harmonic current ratio between the primary side of the converter transformer and the AC line at the transmission end is used to identify the internal and external faults. The ratio is greater than 1 when the internal fault occurs, and the ratio is less than 1 when the external fault occurs. Then the time coordination between the protection of the rectifier station and the outside AC system is designed to prevent misoperation of rectifier station protection in the case of AC system failure outside the zone. Simulation results show that the proposed protection optimization scheme can accurately identify internal and external faults, and is not affected by fault type, fault distance, transition resistance, fault initial angle, and noise interference.
